Household Hazardous Waste Facility (HHW Facility)
NotesDrop-off: all kinds of household batteries. How to prepare: All batteries (excluding alkaline, 9Vs and 6V lantern batteries) must be properly insulated when being transported. This will prevent terminals from coming into contact with each other. Proper insulation would include taping the terminals of the batteries. Using clear tape is preferred so that battery identification is possible. Alkaline 9-volts and 6-volt lantern batteries do not need to be taped prior to recycling. The facility accepts up to 125 pounds of solid material.
