When a mattress and box spring gets recycled, the steel, foam, fiber and wood become new products such as steel beams, industrial filters, carpet padding, and even mulch for your garden. In fact, up to 80% of the components of a used mattress can be recycled.
Accepted: clean, dry mattresses (any size) • box springs • futons. Not accepted: heavily soiled or wet mattresses • bed frames • crib mattresses • dog beds • mattress toppers.
