REUSABLE FOOD SERVICE WARE GRANT

  • In order to be eligible for funding up to $250 per business, this intake form must be completed thoroughly, and submitted using the button at the bottom of the page.
  • The business must email their W-9 form to zws-foodware@sonoma-county.org (this is needed in order for us to issue reimbursement).
  • Eligible expenses for reusable food service ware may include, but are not limited to: baskets, plates, bowls, ramekins, cups, mugs, trays utensils, bulk dispensers, self-service bins, dishwashers, and payment to third-party support for reuse.
  • Establishing a rentable Party Kit with reusable food ware is another eligible expense. Learn more here: https://www.partykitnetwork.org/
  • Receipts must be submitted to zws-foodware@sonoma-county.org within 60 days of purchase.
  • Third party companies offering reusable food ware services that may be available to Sonoma County businesses include:
    • Dispatch Goods: Service handling all aspects of prepared food delivery including collection, cleaning, and return of foodware to participating food businesses.
    • Dishcraft Robotics: Similar to a linen service, Dishcraft delivers quality, reusable dishes, to-go containers, and flatware each day, then cleans the dirties in their hub. Using robotics and AI to wash and sanitize foodware, Dishcraft provides ultra-clean wares for diners.
    • Sparkl Reusables: Custom-designed reusable foodware systems for institutional food service, events, grocery stores, and restaurants. Sparkl's services range from supplying containers and return systems to washing and delivery.
    • Sudbusters: Specialized in providing reusable dish and drinkware for recurring and on-demand needs, particularly for events.

  • PLEASE NOTE: Funding is limited, and available only on a first come, first served basis. Every effort will be made to update or disable this page as needed, however Zero Waste Sonoma may not be held responsible if this funding runs out before you are reimbursed.
