Dental amalgam and anesthetic carpules

It is illegal to dispose of home-generated syringes/needles in the garbage. This includes needles, syringes and lancets used for the care of people and animals.

Materials can be disposed of through mail-back programs or at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility. Materials must be transported in approved containers.
