Nursery pots

Nursery pots (any size, as long as they are clean and can fit properly in your bin) can be placed with other rigid plastics in your curbside recycling bin. See curbside recycling.

Nursery pots (1-15 gallon) can be taken to drop-off recycling centers.

If you have broken terra-cotta pots, they can be recycled at locations accepting terra-cotta shingles for recycling.

Plastic pots can also be donated to the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department's vocational program.
