Donate items you no longer want to thrift stores and nonprofits. Below is a sampling of organizations accepting donations and companies providing pickup service for reusable items. Please verify that the materials collected will be reused and recycled. In addition to the sites listed below, consider using platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Freecycle and Nextdoor to list and find items for reuse, resale, or giveaway.
Please call secondhand or thrift stores before bringing items for donation, to ensure they are currently accepting those particular items.
There are a number of mail-back programs for clothing and textiles listed below, with different incentives to participate.
