For unwanted electric toothbrushes, consider contacting the manufacturer of the product regarding product take-back options. If the manufacturer does not offer take-back, please so the following:

1. Remove the bristle/brush portion and dispose of that in the garbage.

2. The bottom rechargeable battery portion can be recycled like other rechargeable household batteries.

3. The unit that plugs into the wall can be recycled with other electronic e-waste.
