If your equipment can't be reused, please dismantle complicated equipment. Examples of complicated equipment includes TV screens (e.g., NordicTracks, elliptical, stationary bicycles, rowing machines, etc.). The TV needs to be recycled as e-waste. The remaining components can be recycled as scrap metal, if applicable. Rigid plastic components are garbage.
County Refuse Disposal Sites accept exercise/sporting equipment provided the equipment is dismantled into components (e-waste, metal, and plastic); check with on-site attendant for instructions.
